Awwe, thanks for checking! I have been so busy with making sure the trailer was ready if I needed to get my goats evacuated, and dealing with my new baby, I've only been able to 'sneak peeks' on the computer!
Fire update: I had lite ash falling both the last 2 mornings. Not too bad, but I was still concerned if a spot fire could start... but thankfully the fire is burning East/ Northeast now (I am 3 miles from the southern edge) and the fire crews were able to save over 200 homes. It is up to 1000 acres now, so it hasn't grown much today ***YAY***
For the smoke, well I gave some benedryl to the goats that seemed most agitated by the smoke, kept misters going in the barn to help keep the smoke down (the ends are open), and I think they are all going to be ok.
