Take a look at these bucklings...

In case you haven't seen it, I started this thread a couple of days ago.
Can you help tell me anything about this buckling?

I just received some pictures of the two bucklings this morning and want to know what you think. If I get them, one will be a buck and one will be wethered...I just have no idea how to choose which one. The one I like the markings of the best only looks good in a couple of shots...not sure if it's the other pose that makes him look swoopy in the back, or if he really is. Anyway, if you could give me your opinions, I'd be very thankful!

Perhaps it doesn't really matter which one is left intact since they are brothers?

I like the markings of the one in the first picture the best. Do any of you have anything to add with these new pictures?

They didn't happen to send pics of the rear did they? So you can see the width & height of the escutcheon?

The pics are hard for me to judge by, they are standing odd.....plus I just suck at pics anyways, so I'd like to put my hands on them so I can feel for spring of rib, look for width..... I can feel what I like or don't like better than I can pick it out on a pic, so hopefully one those more knowledgable can give you the pic critque you need...

I do agree that on a cute scale, buckling number one is the cutess lil thing, love his markings

Now I'm leaning toward wethering the one I think is cuter so that, if I ever decide to get rid of the buck, I could still keep the cute wether.

No, they didn't send any rear pictures. I'll see if they will...

I agree the pictures are not the best but if I had to pick between the two just by these pictures I would pick the one without the white tip tail. To me he looks better put together then the other and more manly then the other. I like my bucks to scream I am a buck. He also seems thicker and more boned to me.

I agree, wether the one with the white tip... he's got a weak back, and looks over in the knee - though it could be the pics.

Ok, good...that's what I thought too. The darker one just looks sturdier and more robust.

I'm pretty sure we're going to get them Friday afternoon. I'll choose which one to band after I see them in person.

I agree with everyone else. Pooh-Bear-side baby is the cutest, but what's up with those knees? Darker boy just looks better all around. I used to have a doeling who could have been a twin to Pooh-Bear-boy though.

I'm another hands-on person, especially with kids. No help here. You could wait a while after getting them....see if anything changes your mind one way or another. I certainly would wait a month or two after getting them.
