If its thick, you will need to stock heavily to clear it. 2-3 goats will just live there quite happily for years. 
I'd guess to actually *clear* it(is that what you want? To beat back the brush and kill it?), I'd guess you better get at least a dozen, probably more.
Wethers would be best if you have no intention of breeding goats. Yearlings would be nice, but I'd guess what you will find the most is kids from this past kidding season. 5-7 months old by this time.
