Got my camera back!(Pics)

They're not very good. I went out when it was hot and no one was interested in being mildly charming or funny. Well, except the bucks. That's only because I smelled like girls...

This is my buck who can't hit the bulls-eye, Jagger.

Kaw-Liga, my other buck.

Why I hate horned goats... Murderface. At least she had water....sigh.

Heiorun. If you squint your eyes you can pretend she's a saanen.

Ali wouldn't hold still long enough for me to take a picture.

What do you do when it's 95 degrees? You lay in a pile and glare at anyone who dares disturbs you.

Skwiss says, "You can take my picture but don't try to pet me."

I'll try to get more later when they rouse a bit. Mostly I was told to leave them alone. I came without treats...

My son named Murderface. I've vetoed other names like Bloodbath and Body Bag. We do have a Killbox right now. As for Murderface, she looks sweet but is evil to the core. She and Amber are by themselves because they have horns and use them with a vengeance on the other girls. They guard the minerals and the feed and won't let anyone else in. When it would rain they wouldn't let anyone in the shelters. If they stood anywhere near the gate to the milk area I couldn't get the milkers in. I'm thinking they need to go to freezer camp. Murderface is hard though because we raised her from a baby. She gets her head stuck in the fence almost daily. We had a "stupid stick" on her and she used it to tear a hole in the wall of my milk area. We thought about banding her rather than sending her away but banding turned Amber into a raving lunatic. She broke a horn and kept making it rebleed. It went on for over a month. We banded her one horn hoping it would make her quit making a bloody mess of herself. Now we can't even catch her. That was over a year ago.

Poppy has horns but she doesn't try to use them except for scratching her back. She gets to stay with the dairy girls.

As for them laying in the shade, the shade would have been on the other side. These dorks were laying in the sun. I need to shave the black one in the group photo. I bought her this spring and she was a bit copper deficient. Her hair underneath is shiny and black now. My vanity says to get rid of it but my softy-girl heart says leave it because the gnats would eat her up.

The pics are bad. I don't know what MIL did to the settings. I had it set for outside photos. I basically only take pictures of the goats...

Ali is a Nubian. She was my little preemie that was born Memorial weekend. She likes to make her ears flap as she runs. She looks like a goof when she does it.

Kaw-Liga is Ali's sire. Kaw-Liga is giving me fits right now because he is all business. He won't eat more than a few bites of hay because he is so interested in the girls. He's getting so thin. I've tried all of his favorites and he won't do more than a nibble. I feel like the mom in "A Christmas Story" with the little brother trying to get him to eat.

I'm excited to see how Heiorun grows up. Her sire just LA'ed with an 87 as a yearling and her dam a 90 as a 2 year old. Chance and Got Spots scored 85's as yearlings.
