Loose minerals

What do you use? I didn't want to hijack the "concerned about higher feed prices thread", but boy goat minerals are expensive. A very small bag of Manna Pro Goat Minerals was 13.00 + the other day. Does any body use anything different?

I looked at the breakdown on the other bigger bags (cattle minerals) but they didn't have near as much copper.

I just bought a bag of the mineral I use it's by ADM Alliance & called Goat Power mineral, it's $29.00 for a 50 pound bag & last quite a long time.

I use to use Cargill brand Right Now Onyx but the feed stores around here no longer get any Cargill products because of some problem with salesman &/or company is what I was told.

Sweetlix also makes a pretty good loose mineral comparable to ADM's mineral I use & about the same price. It may be easier for you to find.

If you have a mom & pop type feed store they are usually pretty good about ordering different things for their customers if it's by a company they already deal with.

If you sign up for Purina's challenge they send you tons of coupons. The last time I got mineral it was 3 bucks off.
