Our Newest Addition

Today, we brought home Karin, our first standard sized goat. She's 4 months old, and she's a Saanen/Alpine cross. She's not very skittish, but not entirely friendly yet either. I love how dainty and regal she looks. And she has wattles! Hubby thinks they're weird, but I think they're adorable. We're a little nervous about the horns, but not enough to keep us from bringing her home. She's in a pen now with Morgan, our most easy-going girl.

Anyway, I know it didn't happen without pictures, so here ya go.

I think she would be a lot friendlier after a marshmellow or three : )

Congratulations on your pretty girl! Try coxing her with treats like animal crackers or raisins & once she gets used to treats she'll be your best buddy for life.
