OT:Patrick is a year old today
A year ago today, I was awakened by a text message to say that Patrick Marcus Wilson had arrived. He was supposed to be a girl, according to the ultrasound, but a boy he undoubtedly was! He was born at home and very healthy. This is the first picture, just an hour or so after birth, at home with his parents:
And here is the latest pic I took of him.
Happy Birthday, Patrick!!!! We are planning on a family dinner with cake, ice cream, the works. Unfortunately Patrick is teething today and a mite on the grouchy side. But seeing his cousins always brightens him up.

I think John would be happy with another already, Audrey wants to wait a bit. This is an improvement, as originally she swore Patrick was the only one! We were almost all naturally spaced 2 years apart, I tend to think thats perfect spacing. Close enough to be friends, but not too close to have your own personal time with the parents. A friends family were all born three years apart.....he swears that is the perfect spacing for kids. I guess its what you grew up with that decides you on that.
I just say that Patrick needs at least one sibling!!
