Cocci meds question

I use the Di-Methoox Soluble Powder 107 gm pkg for treatment. It says to keep it in the fridge. Does that mean I can use the same stuff that is in the fridge from previous or do I have to use a new package each time I start the 5 day treatment???
Also...I'm wondering if I should start the 5 day treatment during this heat warning. Or should I wait until Sat when the temp is supposed to ease up?? It's been over 100 heat index the past 3 days...
Thanks!

Not sure about that stuff so can't tell you that but in regards to your second question I pulled this info for you as to YES I would go ahead with treatment
"Coccidiosis is frequently referred to as an opportunist – a disease that will develop when other stress factors are present. For example, the highest incidence of coccidiosis is in the first 21 days after an animal has changed owners and moved to a new residence. If a normal animal carries oocysts, it is relatively easy for rapid development when the conditions are right – adverse weather, shipping, food changes, new owners, new residence, and other stresses are important.

That makes sense! Thank you Still need to find out if I can use the stuff I mixed up or if I should get a new packet. Not that I don't want to buy anew one...just have to make a special trip to get it.

Freeze it in ice cubes and then put the cubes in a freezer baggie and thaw it up as you need it. Remember to lable the baggies so other family members know not to use it. I'm the only one that lives in my house so I don't worry with someone getting a dose of coccidiosis med by accident. I do this with several kinds of different med for the goats, saves money and there's no waste.
