Pumpkins for goats?

It is pumpkin planting time where we live. Do goats ignore this treat or will they devour them like the chickens & cows? If they like them, I will carve out another section of garden just for them.

They Love them....mine do anyways! We normally get a couple truck loads of pumpkins that didn't sell over Halloween, and feed them all winter, although they are frozen, they still get into them!

So in the garden would be just the same I'm assuming.

Yes they love them and they are good for them. The seeds are particularly healthy being high in zinc among much more!

Oh, my! How my goaties love their squash! Pumpkins, acorn, butternut... they don't care about what kind, as long as they get LOTS of it!

(rabbits love cooked squash, BTW. )

Mine won't eat the plants, but will bust ripe pumpkins if they get to them before I do.
