Kinder Goats

Does anyone have any experience with these kind of goats? I am looking at different breeds and came across these.

I have no experience with them, but there was just another thread where the breed was mentioned:
Opinions please
So somebody out there is really partial to them!

There aren't many registered ones out there. It's a relatively new breed, and finding them is not easy.

You can, of course, breed registered Nubian does to registered Pygmy bucks and wind up in the same place.

Alice, you made me chuckle! Especially since another goaty person considers the Nigerian breed a "fad".

Southernmom86-I say if you want one, go for it! Get some advice, but you won't know unless you try it!

I kinda have my mind made up, unless I can't find them in my area, then I will go with saanen because that is what my mom has. I really don't want to have to start my own line for them. I was just hoping maybe someone has had them and could tell me their experience with them.

I like Saanens. They are easy going, calm, serene, and quiet.

I've crossed Saanen in with my herd, and I'm happy with the results.

There is a nice Saanen breeder in Central Texas if you need some. He's near Columbus, just off of Interstate 10.

Found this, too:

I breed Kinders and there are all kinds of them here in Missouri. All I have is registered and Missouri has just about the most breeders of all the states other than Washington. They are a great little breed that really dosen't get the justice they deserve. They might be smaller, but when you go by percentage, they give just as much as the bigger animals. And that way you can have more goats. Same amount of feed, milk, and meat, but more loveable goats, lol!!

I have another doe to kid in a few days, and next year I will even have some adults either in milk or bred for sale. Check them out a little more seriously. I travel to LA sometimes and wouldn't mind bringing some along.

Might have to take you up on that. I havent found anyone in LA yet. I thought I found someone in TX but I havent heard back yet. I have been reading a lot about them and think they would be great for us. I really would like to go with them, but if not I know Saanen's are popular here and easy to find.

Yup, south central missouri. But I am headed to Dallas end of the week, and I do travel ALOT. My two older boys are blind, so we are always going to some convention or other. My middle son is going to Louisanna next summer for three weeks for a training program.

I do plan on having adult goats for sale next year, I have been keeping most of the does this year for future breeding stock. When they grow, I will have to wean myself down to just a couple to keep.
