Sold Airin' Today

Well, sold Airin' My Troubles today, and it's a mixed feeling... She went to an excellent home, it was time to send her along... As always, I am proud of my stock and so was proud to offer her for sale...

But it's... I don't know... Kind of like sending someone off into the world... "Do us proud! Be good! Throw many good kids and don't be a snot on the stand! Tell your new humans to send pics!"

It's good that you felt good about where she went. I hate when you sell one and you have misgivings. She'll probably be spoiled rotten.

It's hard for me to sell my adult goats too, seems like we get so attached to them but at least you like the home she's going to & that's good. I'm sure they will take good care of her & lots of Love too.

Some of you may recall that we had a rather tragic outcome with the snubian sisters I sold early this year. After that, I wasn't sure I'd be able to sell any breeding stock again - well, not without a sworn affidavit from the buyers, giving me permission to beat the daylights out of them for mishandling the stock I sold them to the point where the animals suffered terribly.

So it was a big deal to find someone I could reasonably trust. God gives us what we need when we need it.
