basic obedience training

The goats keep rushing the fence when I go in and out and one keeps putting his front legs on us when treats are being handed out. Do you train them just like dogs? I assume they aren't going to respond to voice praise. Need training tips please.

Take a spray bottle. Also...mine know if they jump up on me they will not get a treat. That is from me "kneeing" them when they attempt t jump up. I scold and give praise all the time.

What she said
As for training them to not eat screws....you're on your own.

Yep, spray bottle works great.

As for training not to eat screws, the next time you have screws out working on something, place a bowl of milk and Captain Crunch in another area of the pen to distract them

Better yet, put the cereal in a paper bag! They won't even notice you, come and go at will
