Breeding age for Nigerian does?

So far all I have are does...I'm good with that, but my question is, when should I eventually consider breeding them?

I have one doe that's over a year old and two others that will be a year in October...No rush on this, but want to know when I should go buck hunting.

I have small ND's and wait until they are at least 1 1/2 years. I have one very petite doeling though that I am not going to think about breeding until she is 2 1/2. I'm sure it is done if they are good size around a year, but I figure they are still growing, so why put further demands on them. My Dottie had triplets with her FF after being bred at 1 1/2!

Ford Zoo has the same answer as I do so I did not reply

None of mine have singles either, they kid twins and triplets as first timers, not sure if it is because I wait for them to grow well or they eat too well

I do not have " Great Dane" Nigerians either so I wait to be on the safe side, lol.

How large are they? Nigerians vary in size.

We breed ours to kid when they are about one year but some are 11 months and do fine.
In our herd yearlings are normally around 20-22" at one year and don't continue to grow much after one year.
