My New start to Registered!

My New start to Registered! - Goats

This is my first purchase of a registered Mini Nubian. This is a doeling out of Echo Hills & Spring Run lines. 3rd generation, from disease tested & registered herd.
I am so excited I can't hardly stand it!

She was just born 2 days ago. I'm waiting until she's weaned. I prefer not to bottle feed if I don't have to. I am so excited though it will be hard to wait.

I looked really hard & all over to try & find what I wanted to start with so I'm pretty pleased with her. It will take us a little while to get to the 6th generation or purebred status but that's OK & part of the fun of having/raising goats.

Hoping to get a doeling from the same breeder next year that will be 6th generation, Echo Hills line on both sides.

She has a twin sister but I am partial to the frosted ears & she has the plain colored ears.

So cute, congrats!!

I like solid ears so I would have picked her sister

Maybe you can get her around 2 months old and just bottle her twice a day so she is close to you but it is not such a big hassle.

I knew there was someone here that liked the solid ears but I couldn't remember who it was. They are both really adorable but this one had more color. The other was solid cinnamon color with a light black or dark brown stripe down her back.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! I know I already said this but I am really excited.

No Name yet but were trying to think of one. I've never had registered goats before so I'm not really sure if she needs a long name for the papers like I've seen folks here give their goats or if I can just pick a name that I like, example I have a goat named Maggie now. I'll have the breeder help me decide before she sends in the registration papers I think.
