OMG I have gone insane!

But I just cant refuse a bargain!

The breeder we got our goats from had a beautiful young buck for half price and then took off a quarter more when I asked him if he would. I was so sure he would say no to my offer that I was amazed when he said yes lol.

But it will give our buck a friend and even though we only have two does, our first buck is related to them not too far back so its nice to have a buck that isnt related at all. So I am getting champion bloodlines for mongrel prices.

And he is such a pretty boyo, will be picking him up on Friday so will be posting some pictures soon.

The official story is that my Mum is buying him as a friend for her Tigger.

His full name is Thief of Hearts and knowing how bouncy Tigger is, I dont think Eeyore is going to be a proper name for him, Eeyore's being so slow and somber an animal lol.

We will most likely call him Thieffy or Get DOWN you brat!!!

No picks yet but we got him home and today he and Tigger are together in their new pen. Tigger is twice his size and age but other than his mounting Kisses (yes, his name has now changed lol) repeatedly for about half an hour, they are now grazing together like old friends.

But it was sooooo funny! Kisses got to spend the night with the girls - his doing, not mine, sneaky little thing! - but he acted very young and in major awe of our 6 year old doe as she kept bashing him out of her way but when Tigger caught sight and smell of Little Girl he stuck his tongue out and wagged it yelling bwa a a a a a a a aaa at her.

Kisses looked at him, looked at her, and I could SEE the lightbulb go off in his head! Out goes his tongue, flap flap flap bwa a a a aa aaaaa a a a. Baby to buck in an instant.

They grow up so fast

And he looks like a childs drawing of a goat done in heavy black lines and then filled in with brown and white patches. SUCH a pretty boy!
