Pics of our bottle babies

These are the two doelings we are bottle feeding now. Their momma died two days after kidding. We have moved them into a covered pen by the house. They are taking 1 cup of whole milk 4 times a day. One is taking a bottle and the other drink it from a bowl. They are 4 days old today. So far, both doing great.

They are both beautiful girls but that 2nd 1 sure has alot of nice color & markings. I can see your human girls don't like them at all do they? Hehehe!

Thanks for all the compliments. They are up to 12oz of whole milk 4 times a day now. Still doing great. They are little darlings.

We were really hoping for doelings as our last ones were twin bucklings.

All of our goats have horns, but we are seriously considering dehorning these. Just dont know if it would be a bad idea as the other goats they are in with are horned and I know they all headbutt. Seems without horns, the other goats would hurt them.
