Exclamation Need advice on my 2 of my goats read below

I have to goats i bought the end of April and they were said to be alpines even though everyone who has looked as them says they look like pygmy's. Anyways these 2, there poop is clumped together at times and then its really runny i dewormed them May 1st with positive pellet dewormer. Any advice on what could be the culprit?

Positive Pellet dewormer is pretty much ineffective.

Deworm with Cydectin, orally. Many folks give 1 cc per 20 pounds. I dose stronger than that.

Okay thanks. I was recommended positive pellet dewormer by the previous person i bought my goats from but i will go and get from Cydectin. Thanks! Do you think this could be worms?

If you post pictures, I'm sure someone can help you identify the breed of your goats.

I agree with Alice, most likely worms. Pelleted wormers don't usually work. I use Cydectin at the same rate as Alice posted. You'll need to weigh them. You'll want to give them enough of the wormer, better to go higher on the dose than too low.

You have to upload your photos to a photosite like Photo Bucket first. Then hovver over the picture you want to post, copy the img code then paste it here in the reply box.

Very cute little goats but my guess would be for pygmy breed or a pygmy mix. They look really small. I don't see alpine in either of them but I am no breed expert.
