Oh so sick :(

I am so sick that when I went to milk Betty this morning she ran away from me in terror, turned around with big eyes and snorted at me!

The good side is that I have lost 5 pounds

Fever finally broke - guess I will go down and scare her again. . .

I guess my hair was a mess. I washed it but then had to lay down, got mad at my daughter's then just went down to milk - I did not look in a mirror until I got back upstairs - It kind of scared me too!

My husband has been gone for three weeks so I totally redid our bedroom to surprize him. Lots of trips out looking for stuff, which I hardly ever do, I guess I picked something up. Really no other symptom than a high fever. Other than having no patience, being grumpy and no appetite.

Thanks for the offer Ranger - I have a great farm hand during the week and he would come out if I asked him. Off to bed. . .again. . . Thanks everyone

I hope you can get some rest & feel better soon! Nothing worse than being sick! Drink lots of fluids too!

Oh, & I wanted to tell you I'm going to use your Cajeta recipe & make some of my own! I can hardly wait. Maybe Monday since we'll be home.

Oh sorry you feel sick. Take some Tylenol to break your fever and drink lots of fluids. Turn the A/C down so you can cool off and get comfy. Hugs

No symptoms except high fever? Have you been bitten by a tick that you know of?

Really sorry you're feeling bad, take care.

No bug bites, been taking the 24 hour aleve and that brings the fever down from 103 to about 99, sleeping a lot, struggling with everything else

I really hate doctors, from what they did I lost my mother, when I am sick all I want is my Mom, but I may have to go. . .

NO! As soon as the aleve wears off the fever is back up to 103. With the aleve my temp goes down to 98. Woke up this morning after taking meds earlier just drenched.

Tomorrow morning I am going to go to the doctor - this has been almost a week. Thanks for asking

I'M BETTER!!!!!!

Slept all night, woke up with no fever and feeling pretty good, just weak. Got makeup on and my bed made - YEAH!!!!! Now I get to tackle the mess of this house, after being "cared for", but I feel better!!! Even thought about making soap!!!!
Pony likes this.

Dont overdue it. You need to keep hydrated and take a couple more doses of med just in case. I hate meds so I take elderberry lozenges that I get at GNC. Plan on making some elderberry syrup if I get enough berries this year.

Take it easy for a day or so. I'm so glad you're feeling better. Fevers are the worst!
