Talking Met My GOal- EXCEEDED my goal!!!

My goal was to be back doing all my farm chores, unassisted, by mid-May. Yesterday evening I met that goal, and it is not yet mid-May! The first time doing all the milking on my own was a real dog & pony show, though! SIX Dairy does rushed the gate to the milk room, and I turned to see 3 heavily-uddered does on the milkstand, fighting over the dairy ration! Moron manners! It cost me some real energy & effort to 'rassle the 2 extras down off the milkstand & shove 'em back thru the gate & back into the holding pen! Then, worn out as I was, I still had 6 does to milk!

It isn't even funny how much longer the most simple chores take when one whole side of one's body doesn't want to cooperate!

I can see that you are not a lady to mess with. Good to hear- those of us with questionable health are always encouraged by someone succeeding against the odds.
Hmmm- does that make you my hero?

I hope you do not over do it and do let yourself be proud of your recovery. You've done well!

But when I invision the goats rushing in and then fighting over the food, I just have to

SPIKE
