OT: But you guys are my goat family...

...so I have to tell you.

My fantasy novel went live on Kindle this morning! I'm so excited and so nervous. I have put a lot of work, blood, sweat, and tears into the writing of this book. If anyone is interested, here is the link to it. I guess it takes Amazon about a week to get the "look inside" feature available so sample pages can be viewed.

Thanks guys. Right I'm teetering back and forth between euphoric confidence and paranoid nervousness.

"I wrote a book, its on Kindle, YAY!" to "Oh crap, what if it isn't good enough?"

Well hopefully if my family takes my hints in me saying I would like a refurb Kindle Fire for Mother's Day, then I can buy and read your book too!
They better get the hint too since they are always nagging at me for never knowing what I want as gifts.

Congrats for writing and getting it published!

Thanks! It will available through Amazon in paperback in about a week. Also, if you don't have a Kindle, you can get Kindle for your PC for free and you can download the Kindle app for free on android devices.

Well I just "wasted" some time reading the free preview. I must say it is reminding me of one of my favorite writers..Anne McCathery(sp). I will be buying your book. Congrats !

That you even actually did it makes me envious. I have books in my head that get revised often but never written down. Perhaps one day I will make the same leap you have taken. bee

Other than having dragon riders, it is very different from McCaffrey. She is a favorite of mine too.

Just bought it! I love fantasy novels

I have so many stories in my head that I can't remember things like "pick up bread at the store". I envy you the talent of actually putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and making it happen!

Glad you posted, this, I wasn't sure if I could tell and I wanted to say that the book is AWESOME! It kept me awake way too late for several evenings because I couldn't put it down. Dd13 even came in once and threatened to hide the book from me because the light from my room was keeping her awake....

Two thumbs up and highly recommended! Especially if you like that genre!

(and I am not your mom, OBF - she was right - it is a great book!)
