Goat Hobbles

Does anyone know of a good hobble that works? We have a nubian alpine mix that has a beautiful large bag but has recently gotten in the bad habit of kicking my husband in the chest and belly when he milks her.

I think there are actual goat hobbles that are sold but we have always just used chin straps from a horse's bridle . There are leather ones and then leather or nylon ones with a chain in the middle (my favorite) and they're only like 5 bucks ! Your local tack shop or feed store like TSC should sell them !

I've used bridle chin straps and just plain rope, knotted so that it cannot draw tight and cut off circulation.

I call it "Goat Bondage".

Generally only takes a week of it to break a goat from fooling around on the milkstand.
