Exclamation Shivering Buckling

After losing my only purebred LaMancha doeling, I noticed one of my bucklings shivering. The sun was out in the morning (it was 52 this morning), but as soon as I went out to do my chores, it started to get cloudy. I noticed him shivering against the shed, so I went to touch him and he got up and moved with no problem. I milked the girls and then went back to him and he was shivering again. I then picked him up and he wasn't at all warm, nor did he feel too cold (although I do have to take his temp). I put my finger in his mouth and it was warm, but I noticed he did try and suck on them. I brought him over to his mom and he cried just a tiny bit, but didn't nurse and then went into the shed to snuggle with all the other kids. What else should I be looking for and should I worry? He moves quickly and has no signs of dehydration, but at the same time he isn't acting exactly right. I noticed his burned horn buds are bleeding a little tiny tiny bit around the bud rings, but from my experience, that is pretty normal. I just don't want to lose another one!!

I"m sure I don't remember right so could you give a little more info, his age, when was he disbudded & temp.?

Wondering did you give him a shot for Tetanus when he was disbudded?

He is two weeks old and was disbudded a week ago today. A tetanus shot was not given. I gave him a little bit of milk in a bottle and he took a few ounces and bounced right back. Last I saw he was bouncing around in the field again. I am wondering if his mom is not very attentive (she is a FF). She often has a full udder and rarely seems concerned about her boys.

Backfourty asked a good question as it is important a tetanus is given at disbudding times.

If he were mine, I'ld put him on a little coat. (I make them out of the sleeves of old sweaters.) Then I'ld use a small soda bottle to get some of his dam's warm milk and bottle feed him while I held him. (I know if I'm cold, I don't feel like eating.)

Agree the little coat made for him won't hurt & I think I would still give him a tetanus shot. I think it will last about 2 weeks & he'll need his first CD & T in another week(that doesn't start working right away though) just to be on the safe side.
If Tetanus has nothing to do with the shivering or acting OFF then the shot still won't hurt him but could actually save him.
