I've decided

that Bella is never going kid. In fact, I've decided she isn't pregnant at all. She swallowed a couple of moving beach balls and her hoochie is all puffy for no reason.

Honestly, today, I was thinking about you and Bella. I started to post asking you how things were...but I guess that would add to the stress...so, I chose not to....

LOL, I go out and check on her and she is laying there, happily chewing cud and looking like a whale.

She has already passed her afterbirths and is bedded down for the night.. kids are both doing great on the bottle... it's nice to have something GOOD to think about, after the last several days!!))

hopefully Bella won't hold out to much longer

You can of course force her to kid. You just need to have a reservation at the most exclusive restaurant in the world- it's most effective if it took weeks to get the reservation. You need to have your hair especially styled and put on a very expensive gown with open toed heels. It helps if it's raining. This method is guarenteed to start kidding 5 minutes before you get into the car. She will be screaming for mom to come running................

Congrats Yarrow on the healthy twins, always good to read good news.

Oat Bucket, I always figure the babies are in there & they gotta come out sooner or later! They really just like driving us crazy! My dh says he thinks the goats know they drive me crazy so they wait until I leave. A lot of times he's here with them by himself but he is much more laid back than I am & I think they sense that.

But such a beautiful whale! I was thinking about her today, too. Now that we have rain all week, maybe she will decide to pop!

My Dh is also much more laid back - but my girls wait until he leaves! I think they like to see me pull my hair out.

I can relate. Miracle was due last Friday and she's still hanging in there. I have been off the last three days and tomorrow it's back to work. If I'd known she was going to wait this long, I'd have seriously considered inducing her Friday night to kid during my time off.

Yep, figured last night when we could only find one lig, she would go today. This morning, both ligs are gone, babies are dropped, she didn't eat her breakfast, and she is talking to us with a bug eyed look.

Gloomy is doing just about the exact same thing this morning (today is 150. I didn't induce her yesterday, thinking she looked like she needed another day or so).. but now she has a wee bit of goo and acting off...So.. let's race!!! LOL (granted Gloomy is a laid, back noncompetitive type.. so Bella will probably win!!)
