Just spoke with Emily

One of Emily's Celtic Knot Experimental yearling girls just kidded. The kids are alive but the doe is in a poor way. Please send a blast of prayer and energy to this little girl because she really needs it right now.

She is going to take the hay to her county Extension service to submit it for testing, so that's covered.

I also asked Emily if she has a Paypal account and she says no. I told her some folks want to send her a little something to help her cover her expenses and she is reluctant, saying she emphatically doesn't want anyone to send money that they can't spare.

If you do want to contribute, it would be best to mail it directly to Emily. If you don't have Emily's USPS address, email me at ozarkgoattrek@gmail.com and I'll send it to you as I don't want to post her address to an open forum.

Sue.. thanks for the update... I was wondering how the yearling sisters were doing (these are the two little girls that simply broke my heart on friday.. so sick, so weak.. they were struggling to stay on their feet.. leaning on one another... happy for live babies.. so sorry to hear the little mama isn't doing well)

susie, mo ozarks

Glad for the update hope the doe gets better. Maybe now that she doesn't have the strain of the babies one her she will re-bound.

Thank you for the update. This whole situation is just so heartbreaking. I'm glad the babies are okay, and sending lots of prayers, jingles and vibes for the little mama.

Sending prayers that the doe pulls through & rebounds. Glad she has live babies. Sure hope they all start doing better really soon.

My foster-daughter has lit a candle for Emily and all of her goats, and another for the little yearling mama. Our prayers are with you.

Quick note: I just spoke with Emily. The Celtic Knot FF that kidded is doing better but her sister who hasn't kidded is still pretty bad--it would be good to send extra prayer and energy her way.

Also, the young LaMancha buck is better but the Camero son still is not eating, so he needs prayer and energy too.

Hoping all goes well with the second doe, glad things are looking up for the other doe and the kids are OK. Are the kids affected at all?

Emily said they were a little slow getting started but she doesn't know if it was because of their mom's illness or because they were a bit premature. Anyway, they're doing great.
