Cookie is getting miserable (and what's she doing?!?!)

Here are several pictures I took of Cookie this morning. Why in the world is she making the "buck face"? March 31 will be day 150. Anyone want to guess when she'll kid and how many she'll have and what the genders will be? She's a first freshener, but the way.

Not sure why they do that but I've always thought it was that they smell hormone's or something since mine seem to do it when they go pee & then smell it, Usually like emanuelcs34 said when they are getting close to delivery.

Love that first picture though, she is so cute.

I'm guessing she'll have triplets, 2 doelings & a little buckling.

I know! I think she really looks like a cow in that middle picture. She's standing just like a Holstein!

Aw, she's such a pretty girl, and her buckface makes me giggle.

Do does not typically do this? My wethers sure do. It's a flehmen response, same as cats who open their mouths when sniffing an especially interesting scent. Helps you take it all in, I imagine.

I am very disappointed in all of you! I thought you people new something about goats! It's very plain to me that one of her kids said something funny and she is laughing at him/her.

O, and it's very plain to see she will have anywhere from 1 to 5 kids (a mixture of does and bucks) sometime in the next two weeks.

Gesh.......you call yourselves "goat people".

Butterscotch made that face when she was in labor. DH started laughing at her and I told him that if he was in labor he'd be making some pretty weird faces too.

That's hilarious, Kim! I think I need to know what your feeding program entails. Elsie looks extremely shiny!

Kim, you have the best pictures! (Minelson is right there with ya )
I have a doe that just started doing this last week. She's on her 6th freshening and I don't remember ever seeing this before. Actually I'm not even positive she's pregnant, but I bet if she is that it will be a boy
