Doe W/Swelling

I have an 8 yr old doe with a swellng on the side of her face. It's not huge, about an inch and half long, but seen and felt. It seems to be a bit more swishy than yesterday when it felt harder. Hope this is a good sign.
She had a respiratory infection about six weeks ago, treated and cleared up fine. Could this be related?
Any ideas on if and how to treat?
Thanks much.

Can you take a picture & post it for the folks here to see? Could be a few different things.

Abscesses are caused by many things... is it her gums? or in the skin? Has she been tested for CL? What part of her face? It could also be bottle jaw... I doubt it has anything to do with a respiratory infection.

It could also be from a picker in the hay & it got inside her cheek & has caused the swelling or maybe an abscessed tooth or could be something like mpete said.

It is vertical, splitting the right side of her face, no hair loss or anything you can see out of the ordinary. It seems like it's just beneath the skin. I highly doubt it's CL as I've never had an incidence of it in ten years, no new goat has been added in years and she's not been off the property.
Her eyelids are a bit pale so I will worm her again. But I thought bottle jaw was in the jaw. I admit I've never seen a case of it in person.
But I'm not going to let it go for long. If I see no improvement I'll call in the vet.

Did you look in her mouth to see if anything showed up in their like a bad tooth or maybe something stuck in the cheek area?
