Lysigin usage? Backordered but I have some from 2005

two things:

Would the Lysigin be ok - expired 2005
and why is this a out-of-stock/backorder?

Any other ideas on treating this staph infection besides lysigin?

Most meds will be OK for 3 years past exp date especially if kept in the fridge. That one is really expired and you will not know if you are getting good protection or not. Don't know why it is back ordered haven't tried to by it for awhile. You might ask your vet if they have some in stock. You can usually get just a few syringe full from them.

If she already has the infection I would think you need antibiotics. Lysign is a vaccination not a treatment.

Back ordered, because lots of Newbies are getting it this year. It seems to be the hot topic on all the boards. I order mine directly from a Vet supply house who only sells to Vets.

... but yeah, if you are just now needing it, its too late, unless your doe is not due until May
