2012 kids
Well, I heard that last night around 1am, I had a solid red boer buckling born. 88% - guess I had a buckling coming, that doe had a single doeling last year.
No, no pictures - I'm still up at MSU until this evening. It'll be dark by the time I get home, but I can try for pictures I guess. If they don't turn out I may not get pics up till Sunday because the current plan (if no does are in labor) is to go the MSU rabbit show on Saturday... which WILL take ALL day, lol.
At least I know Waylon (my buck) can throw solid red - his dam and both littermate sisters were all solid red. Hoping for some solids out of the next 2 boer does due - if I get a solid doe, chances are she's sticking around. I may pull her to bottle raise - we don't really have time to tame them as dam raised kids and I'm about sick of my wild boers, of which I have 2.
More does are due 3/6 and 3/7, so kid pics are imminent. 2 dairies and 2 boers.
