Argh, silly doe code.

So I went out to check on the goats (again).
I framed out the kidding pens today, but hadn't put the gates on them yet.

Star was moaning..
Went back inside, told hubby, gosh I don't know if she'll make the night, she's
laying down and moaning....maybe a couple of hrs?

Asked him what he thought I could prop up for a gate to fence the others out... he got up, went out to the garage and built a gate, we took it out with the flash light, put it in (he rocks! )... .

now she seems fine

Goat for sale

*sigh* this is going to be a long few wks

Those crazy barrel smuggling does stood outside and stared into the barn all night... *sigh* lol
Apparently the new gate is scary.

I can hear it now "I'm not gonna go in there, you go in there"
"No, she already violated us by shaving our udders, tying us up to try to do so, I got a new ball on my horns with EXTRA duct tape, she put walls up in our house...then he put up the swingy gate thing -- they're gonna lock us in!" "There's no telling what else they have in store for us" "
"Nope, I'll stay right here, thank you very much"

Mama has also started pitching a fit when I try to lead her...she throws herself on her front legs and puts her head on the ground, reminds me of a 2yo throwing a tantrum, lol

It's a good thing we like those goats
