He has a VERY nice pedigree. I own a paternal half-brother to his sire. It looks like he has the des-Ruhigestelle E line on both sides, and I feel like that is the strongest line from the des-Ruhigestelle herd. I purchased two bucks from them last year, and one is E-line on both top and bottom (with W-line mixed in on top), the other is E-line on top and S-line on bottom. The dR E-line tends to be very productive and very correct in type.
The dam also has Companeros Stand Out in her pedigree more than once. Stand Out is one of the top recent Saanen sires in the rankings for both production and type. I had a Stand-Out grandson a few years ago, and he did improve milk production and stature. His sire was a 3/4 brother to Companeros Stand Out Clancy who is in the dam's pedigree.
If you are interested in breeding Saanens, he looks like a great foundation buck. I like the LA numbers I am seeing in his pedigree, and I like the pedigree overall.
