They are so cute and fluffy. My girls are losing their winter coats.

Good looking goats! Do you ever have problems with horns getting stuck in collars? I've worried about this with mine so I don't collar unless I'm handling them. My queen doe can be nasty, especially at feeding time. But I see alot of people do it...

No, never had a problem with collars & the goats getting horns in them, etc. Some are horned, some have scurs & some are disbudded or naturally polled. They all do pretty good with each other.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Use to have just Nigies but I like so many different kinds of goats we kinda have a few of different kinds now.

I was feeling left out with so many posting baby pictures & I still have 2 months to wait & since I took the camera out for Minelson this morning I thought I'd snap a few of the girls too.

I think the little buckskin your referring to Michele is my wether, Moose. He's a sweetie but really they are all sweethearts.

That "buckskin" color you are referring to is actually Chamoisee. It is such a beautiful color, isn't it? It is one of my favorites. Not criticizing, just informing.

I thought the same thing about the pics. So nice to see them having fun. All we have is snow and melting snow too. Very depressing.

I thought you were talking about Moose, he's the one with the white saddle. I guess I don't know what a buckskin is either.

The one Crazygoatgal is calling a Chamoisee is actually my little fat Nigerian doe that I've had trouble getting to settle.
Don't want to jinx myself but it's been 27 days since she was in heat last & I Let her & the buck get together again. She's been on a diet too!

Man, horse colors and breeds are so much easier to recoginize!! or maybe its just because Ive been doing it so long, and I am new to goats! Any links with a color chart? Gidgette is beautiful by the way!!

Love her long ears!

Gidgette changed her mind...she wants to come to MY house.

Of course, I DID bribe her with all-you-can-eat cinnamon bread...

GORGEOUS herd, Katie, but I have to admit to loving Gidgette.

Thanks everyone, we Love them all but Gidgette's colors & markings we always thought were very unusual too.

Gidgette really doesn't want to leave me! Hard for me to get rid of any of my goats after they are here awhile, that's why I am NOT keeping any Babies this year!
