I forgot until just now that we had results due from Biotracking FRIDAY!
Sent in 7 samples and 6 are bred! The 7th was a ND FF so no big deal!
All CAEs were negative also!
Due to my own "kidding" in April, we put off breeding so they would kid afterward. April, May and June are going to be UNBELIEVABLE! I am going to sell MOST kids. All of our stock is registered. We have Purebred Nubians, LaManchas and NDs. The Nubians will all be bred via AI to 4 or 5 different bucks. All sires are known G6S Normal. We bred all but one of the yearling LaManchas to some milky ND bucks for F1 Mini-Mancha kids. Three of our senior LM does are also bred to NDs and 2 more are/will be bred AI to two different sons of this doe...

She milked 4500+# on a 305 day lactation more than once.
We are a member of ADGA, AGS and MDGA so all kids will be registerable. All breeding stock are CAE neg.
We milk all of our does and are on DHI for the 2nd year. Therefore, to eliminate work for all of us we will be offering quality kids on the bottle with applications cheaper within 2 - 4 weeks of birth.
The genetic part of all this is my favorite part...improving the breed, and of course, the MILK.
Thanks for sharing my joy. I am looking forward to kidding this year...mostly because I get to see my OWN first.
