Start slow & gradually work up the amounts. I started with a lil under 1/4 cup of the pellets per doe.

I got the textured by accident, I'm still using it and the goats love it, so do the rabbits, chickens, ducks and dogs.

I'm using 2 tablespoons per goat for my Nigerians and sprinkling over their feed. The rabbits get between 1/8 tablespoon to 1/2 tablespoon depending on the rabbit, the bigger ones that are blowing are getting the most. As long with the hay it seems to be helping with them passing the wool they ingest.

I have "Amplify" for an elderly horse, and one of my goats who has a skin issue going discovered the supplement. It's primarily Rice Bran, and she loves it. She gets 2 TBSP, also.

I don't get it...I thought people were using the rice bran in place of BOSS becuz the price of BOSS has gotten so high...I see the price is the same for BOSS for the same size bag. Actually here I can get the BOSS for a couple bucks less at a different farm supply store.

I paid $18.99 for the 50# bag of the rice bran, while a 40# bag of BOSS was $24.99. Hubby and I agreed to try the rice bran with that difference in price, since I feed the BOSS to our rabbits, goats, chickens and ducks. My Aussie loves the rice bran as well, so he gets a tablespoon each day while I'm out feeding.

Rice bran here is $9 something, BOSS $23 or so.

I started them out small and worked up to 1/2 a cup or so twice a day. I don't put it on top of their food, but rather, in one corner of their bucket. If I mix feed with my goats they tend to poke around for whichever they like best and by the time they are done with that, wouldn't you know it, what's left is all licked and not fit to eat! So I separate their foods so they can eat one, then the other.

Maybe it's a regional thing. It's coming up as $24.99 a 40lb bag at the TSC in Sioux Falls.
