Talking Sandi's Birth Announcements

Finally we have babies.
She had three of them this morning at 2 am. Two does and one buck. Here is how it went.
Doeling one Brown-Came breech. 6lbs
Buckling Two Brown and white-Normal birth. 9lbs
Doeling three Black and White-Mom stood up to give birth and I was the catcher. 6lbs
Had to teach baby one to open her mouth, she didn't know how. We had to milk Sandi and finally this morning she is nursing on her own. Baby one took forever to nurse where as the other two within five minutes they were latched on. These are not the best pictures, but they were what I got in such a hurry. It has been really cold and they are trying to keep warm. I will post better ones later. We are going to keep the black and white one.

Sandi is doing awesome. She makes sure they get up every hour and pushes them to her to nurse. I am so excited, I get to sleep tonight

What gorgeous babies. Now what are we going to do since we don't have to check for updates multiple times a day?

It's about time! They are all beautiful little babies & I love them all! The Black & white one is defiantely a keeper though! Looks like someone else thinks soo too in that last picture!

Don't forget to worm Sandi & if you don't give B0-Se shots the liquid from a vitamine E capsule squirted in the babies mouths will help them.

When it's cold & we have babies born I always put a hot water bottle under a towel in the corner where the babies snuggle at & they Love it.

Thanks everyone. They are doing great. Bouncing around, and nibbling on mommas food or at least tasting it anyway. Sandi is pretty sore with keeping up with three of them. Tomorrow is supposed to be a warm day so I will let them out by themselves for an hour in the sunshine. I am still trying to figure out a name for the black and white one that we are keeping. My husband wants to call her MOO. NO NO NO. I had one picked out and now I cant remember. Anyway, I have been catching up on my sleep. So tired.
Thanks for hanging in their with me.
