ADGA tattoo on a goat I don't own

Hi folks, quick question. I'm filling out a buck lease form from the ADGA. The man we leased the buck from is now practically blind and needs help with his side of the paperwork. I'd like to avoid a trip out to his place if possible, so I'd like to fill the form in except for his signature and just mail it to him. But....

Can I find the tattoo on a goat I don't own? Nothing seemed obvious in the pedigree search on the ADGA site. I have all the other info, it's just the tattoo and the man can't read his papers.

Do you think the ADGA would look it up for me? I'll give them a call later when I get a chance, but am hoping there's a way online!

Well I just looked all over the ADGA website and can't find anything. I thought maybe it would be on their pedigree... and found out its not. I would say call ADGA and ask if they can help.

Thank you Myra at the ADGA! I called and she was nice enough to look everything up - including some other info I thought I had (he told me the wrong name for his ADGA membership!). Whew.

Thanks for looking into it Donna. I'm surprised they don't have that on the website too. Guess it's just a lot of data entry that they feel is unnecessary as the ID# is unique.
