Anybody else? Weird birthing season

We are having the weirdest birthing season so far. All but o ne of our goats has had multiples! I mean one had triplets but she does every year. And one goat who always singles had her first twins. It's weird! I'm assuming the drought had something to do with it? Or just Murphys law because I said I want to cut our herd to six does. Gosh we have babies crawling out of our ears!

We cull animals (aside from cattle) that only give singles by the second birthing. Most other folks I know do the same.

There were a lot of singles last year so maybe this is a multiple year

I haven't had singles yet...... Even in the goats I had several years ago..... Typically triplets, with a few sets of twins thrown in..

Watch, now that I posted that, I'll get singles this year!

With twins being the norm I would say a year with all singles is weird.
