How old for lice treatment?

How old do Oreos babies have to be before I treat them for lice? Found the horrid things on them yesterday along with the eggs. Also, are these the same ones that get on people or a different kind? DS3 has been loving on his "babies" and now my head is itching just thinking about it.

I would treat them ASAP - lice are nasty for goats, can bring them down.

I'd get that Cylence we discussed in the other thread. Gentle treatment option.
