Question, help please, wormers

New to the arkansas ozarks area with my dairy goats.

Need help from those of you who know this area well, and raising goats here.

Never used Cydectin, always used ivomec. However, it seems here most folks I've talked to are using Cydectin. I have read that since it is the last wormer available right now for barberpole, for example, that one should hold off using it until you are sure you need it.

Is most everyone here using Cydectin now? Or are some of you still using Ivomec effectively?

And should I assume my goats will be having barberpole? Or they might not if on ground that hasn't had any goats before?

Thanks so much for any and all advice or your experience.
