Doeling Update

Well there are some days I think she is going to be fine and other days I swear she is going to die, so she is being a typical goat lol.
She is the one I pulled roughly: I feel awful

She no longer looks like a sway backed horse, can hold her head up fine, runs and bounces with her two bottle friends, eats like a mini cow, pees, poops, all the important things

She turned two weeks old on the 26th. I did have to take her to the vet last week, milk was coming out of her mouth and nose and it was one of those " she is dying days". He said it looked like pinched nerves and the Banamine was causing the milk regurgitation. He gave her a different anti-inflammatory, a shot of Nuflor and another for me to take home. That helped her a lot.
Then a few days later she was grinding her teeth and refused to eat most of the day, then she was fine and bouncy later and ate like nothing happened.
She coughs a bit here and there when she eats and spits up far less milk now so I am hoping she will be fine and stop making me crazy.

The vet said he saw no brain damage or other issues with her and he did poke, prod, test and pinch. Her one brother on the other hand well the jury is still out on that one, since he is so dorky he is one of my favorites lol.

I'm glad that she's doing better. You do realize, of course, that all of the drama is just to drive you over the edge. I really think that they plot against us.

I sure hope after all your doing for that little one that she makes a full recovery & ends up being a normal productive goat. I always like the dorky, clutzy one's too! Glad to hear it sounds like yourlittle doe is still hanging in there & seems to be improving, even a little at a time is better than none.

Oh I hope she pulls through completely and is as normal as a goat can get.

I'm glad she is doing better. I hope she makes a full recovery and turns into one of your best does.
