Decent enough looking goat, BUT, she's a boer/dairy cross not a Nubian.

It is hard to say what she is, but she is not pure Nubian. Her ears are too short and her body is not the right style. She could be a Boer cross, or a mini Nubian?
Since she is 3 yrs old I guess they got her from elsewhere and could have been told she is purebred.
If she is a Boer cross and your intention is milk I would pass since I would not want to have her dry up at 5 months in.

I thought she had a boar look to her, the colors make me think nigerian, but she is bigger then the other goats pictured so thinking boar. Her nose isn't as roman as my 2 nubians nor her ears as long. And most likely she has not been tested. I love the colors but since I am limited on space I think I will hold out for what I really want...a moon-spotted nubian doe.

I think the colors could be nubian as I have seen more than one with the speckled pattern. The ears and the horns do look very much like a boar to me though so she could likely have some boar in her.

I do have a fullblooded Nubian doe who looks very similar in body style and in the pattern though the colors are more gray than brown and her ears are bigger. Here she is...

It struck me as "odd" that he posted "odd" sale numbers. Almost like he was thinking in his head, "This one needs to be $XX.XX to pay the light bill and this one needs to be...". Huh.

Someone ought to explain that to Moondust (Nubian/Boer) who is still being milked once a day by her Amish owner after kidding in January of 2011.
Or for that matter, anyone of our Boer cross does that we will be force weaning here shortly for pen breeding.
Just don't pay any mind to Moonie's dam, Twyla, or our Fullblood doe, Midge...who both dry off way too early for my taste. Lazy bums.
Without anything to go on, there is a chance she could naturally dry off early. She is definitely a Boer cross though. Real thick boded, short eared and all that cashmere. Looks to be higher than 50% to me.

More likely he is using local sale barn results and charging by weight.
