Sorry Honey. I have no idea how it happened...

I went to go pick up a new buckling because I'm not patient enough to wait for mine to grow up. When I got there the breeder must've liked me because she sent me home with a doeling too! Now I'm broke and having to explain it to DH. There was no cell service there. I had to make a judgement call. Yeah, I obviously have skewed judgement when it comes to goats...

Now I need to name them. I would appreciate help.

The buckling was nicknamed Blackjack by them but my dad's name is Jack and I already have a goat that has the same name as my mother that I didn't name. It's creepy to have goats named after my parents especially since they're not my favorite people.
Anyways, his sire is Alize Try N Stinkbug. His dam is Jumpin'-High Syra. He will have Jumpin'-High in his name.

The doeling was nicknamed T.C. by them. It stands for Trouble Causer. She had a sister named J.C. which stood for Just Cute. I had my choice. Do I choose Just Cute? Oh no. Not me. I choose Trouble Causer.
Her sire is Lakeshore Full Force. Her dam is Jumpin'-High RB Avenue. She will have Jumpin'-High in her name.

They are TB, brucellosis, and CAE free. I paid to have him tested. She had just gone to a show out of state so she had her testing done.
I will try and get some pics up later. I'm so excited!

Now I'll try it again.
Here's the buckling. He was born March 8th.

Here she is. We couldn't get even a semi decent pic because of the sun and the fact that she kept trying to crawl in my lap.

The pictures are contained within the url, but if you link to them as though they were a picture, the post will display the picture, not the link.

Put another way, a website is linked using these brackets: [:url] [:/url]. Please note, I added those colons so that you could see the brackets; if I hadn't, it would end up looking like this:

I think his name is Big Jumpin'-High Stinker, give that he is a buck and how he will smell next rut.

I think her name is Bandit Jumpin'-High Red. Bandit because that's what her mask reminds me of, and because she was called Trouble Causer, and Red for her color.

I like Ranger for your bucks name & the doe looks like a Daphne or Daisey to me.
They are both really nice looking, she looks like a real sweetie, can't imagine her being named trouble causer.

AWE! I like the name Stinky for him and Trouble or Cuddles for her.

If he's not stinky yet, just give him a few months. When she comes into heat he'll earn that name!

Oh, HECK YES! I'd have brought them both home, too. They are just gorgeous! And. . . . . hubby? Has he forgiven your "lapse in judgement"?

Oh the little guy figured out the stinky thing already! It smells like babies to me.

DH just laughed and asked if I put a deposit on the other doe. The breeder had already sold all of her cull goats. She had two sets of doelings that she couldn't decide on and was going to let freshen before she made her final decision on which to keep. She decided to let me take one home though. I'm, um...well...sorta, kinda, um... going back in the spring for another one when she decides on the second set of does. It will come down to udders.

We cleaned pens yesterday. She was SUCH a big helper. My other goats usually lose interest after a bit. Not her. DH just said, "Well, you picked one with personality".

I was torn between two bucklings the breeder had. I really wanted the bloodlines in the other buck I didn't choose, too. I was so excited about my doeling because she is my second choice's sister.
