Wow - that is a new goat scam

Spammers and viral emails have gone to a new level of cleverness. . .

I got this email today that read:

From shamsah1@hotmail.co.uk

"To whom it may concern,

I would like to import 2 pygmy goats. I live in Dubai United Arab Emirates so would like to know if it is possible to export your goats abroad.
I am looking for a male and female tri-coloured goat, light caramel or golden white(pictures below) and not from the same litter if possible. I plan to home them within a stable area with 24 hour supervision.
If you require further information at this stage I will be happy to provide details.

P.S do you have goat colours like the pictures below? if so,can you send me pictures of them separately, so I know which are the boys from the girls and with their prices please.....

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Shamsah mohammed

Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone from du"

It included an attachment of 3 photos, which I did NOT download but could see thumbnail of, Nigi does and Pygmy doe and a Nigi buck. . .

This scam is ubiquitous in the puppy business. The next step is an offer to send you a check for too much money, which you are supposed to cash, and send part of the overage back to them.

Do not fall for this. The original check they send is bad, but your bank won't catch it till about ten days later, at which point YOU are liable for all of the money.

Bad, bad, bad.

It's such a common scam, but REALLY? Like they don't have goats in the middle east? Do these scammers even realize what they're writing anymore?

Uh, no, actually that's a pretty standard scam.
