This makes my blood boil

Came across this and just couldn't believe this guy's disrespect for his goats. If you can actually sit through more than a couple minutes of this video, you'll see he actually MOCKS the doe while she's kidding. They are nothing but a quick paycheck to him. Ugh, makes me sick. Just had to vent, thanks for listening....

What an idiot. Wouldn't want him anywhere NEAR me or my goats. (He's ugly as sin, too. Ick.)

I should not have watched it. I also should not have gone and made a comment, no the comment was deserved.

He is ignorant. The doe was clearly malpresented and he mocks her instead of helping, he finally helps only to see it is male and dumps it in the grass. Male or female have some respect for an animal that is providing you with meat, milk, babies, money or whatever.

Maybe one day the goats will turn on him and knock him into a pig pen, the pigs will either adopt him as one of their own, or eat well for a few weeks.

It wouldn't be so bad if he was going to make, say, rennet. I highly doubt that, though.

yea, I highly doubt that. I am a realist, and I understand certain animals get culled for various reasons, but I also respect them at the same time. Did you hear him at the end, when he chuckled and said they died of "steel poisoning"? He really seems to get a kick out of it.

The sheer arrogance of a, ah... less than prime male human crowing about killing bucklings for being male *while* the doe is straining to deliver them is galling.

Who could possibly enjoy killing an infant anything? While I understand it must sometimes be done-

OMG. Something about a mother bellowing while some idiot wails "Slimy, eww, nasty baby" and then instantly takes her newborn away makes me just- ooh. I know they're animals but dear God, let the poor creature keep her young if possible.

Based on the comments here, I won't watch it. I'm in a good mood right now and don't want to spend the day angry at someone who sounds like they need a good whipping.

I understand culling animals that are deformed or injured. And I understand culling healthy animals by rehoming them or butchering them. But to discard a new born baby on the grass to die just because it had the misfortune to be born male is simply horrible. Everything about that man makes me sick to my stomach. The dude is in for a real dose of Karma.

Actually it is a very common dairy goat practice to bottle-raise the entire kid crop.
