Feed with Rumensin... okay for goats?

Is it okay to feed goats feed that has Rumensin in it, to treat preventatively for coccidia?

Whats the withrawal time? I am not milking any right now and won't be till next spring, so I thought i'd feed a couple of bags of it to help with growth and cocci prevention, too. I'd feel sure it would be out of their system by then, or are you not ever supposed to feed it and milk?

Just a random guess, but I'd say a week or so of withdrawal. No big deal. Used often in dairy kids, too.

I thought you were milking some now.

Rumensin no longer has a withdrawal period for lactating dairy cows.

We always drank the milk ourselves but when we switched over to a non med feed it sure tasted a whole lot better.
