Can goats eat ninebark bush?

I know they have nibbled on it occasionally while there out & about but usually don't come up this close to the house & when they do I run them off the bush.

Well the Forsythia thread the other day got me thinking if it doesn't make them sick I could feed them the branches since I had to cut it back it had grown very tall, actually there were 4 of them.

I googled it & it gave me a new variety with purple flowers but didn't say anything about poisonous to livestock.

I think mine is a common Ninebark because mine the leaves are not purple but a nice bright green. Thank gosh they have never got sick from eating it before, but like I said I run them off it if I see them come even close to it.

Thanks Alice

I did some more searching Alice & this is what my bushes look like. It says it's good for different birds & that they eat the fruit. I remember now that's why we planted them since I like Birds & our conservation district suggested them.
But of course we didn't have goats back then.
