Pygmy Breeding age

Been rasing sheep for a few years, but am new to goats. Brought home a 4 mo old pygmy doe, as a surpise for DW, which she loved.

DW is thinking sometime she like to raise some more, but was not sure what age they should start breeding. She had heard, 18 months, which seems like a long time.

Any thoughts?

We wait until our doe's are at least 11 months. I have heard anywhere between 10 months and one year depending on who I talk to.
