Talking I got a picture of....

Bleuberry's dam

Bleuberry (spelled as is on her papers) is an Alpine doe I bought in April..... I did not buy her from her breeder who lives in another state, but from someone who bought her as a kid, then had to thin their herd. I looked up her breeder, contacted them & asked if they had any pictures of Bleuberry's dam they'd be willing to share....Recieved this in an email so I thought I'd share

I think she is..... I see a lot of her in Bleuberry.... I wish I could get a picture of Bleuberry like that....she cooperates with me when I try to set her up, but ends up looking hunched & awkward..... lol Plus its hard to set her up & snap a picture by myself. Everytime I see Bleu in a perfect natural stance, I never have the camera or, she runs to put her nose right in my face, leaving me with nostril pics..

Her breeder sent me a pic of her sire as well, but he looks like a typical hairy buck.... lol His parents are:

Sire: *B CH Cherry Glen Handel Mandarin AA1266854 LA 02-03 91 EEE
Dam: CH Moore's-Meadow WRA Chantilly AA1228030 LA 03-03 89 VVEE

His picture is smaller & not good quality, but I'm waiting for it to upload on my photobucket & I'll come back & post it.

Oh & the doe pictured in my 1st post (my girl's dam) is 2*M Sequoyah Gems Deja' Bleu A1403697. She earned 3 separate CH legs but was forced to forfeit them due to her inability to hold ink (tattoo issues)..

Can someone elaborate more on the tattoo issue? I didn't ask for more detail on it from the breeder, but I'm assuming her tattoos faded & so she couldn't keep the legs she earned? I've seen tattoos that had to be repeated because they didn't hold despite the best efforts of the person tattooing...In this case are you able to redo the tattoo prior to a show or would you be in trouble if part of the old one showed through along, with the new one?

As far as I understand it you have to file for a retattoo and have it on the papers then you can redo it all you need done. If you dont have that and they can tell you've retattooed you wont get the win. correct me if I am wrong guys.
