Gardening for Goats

I know people plant gardens for their chickens, but what about the goaties? I saw someone mention mangels, what else would be good to grow for the goats?

Purple Top Turnips should be good, and Dwarf Essex Rape

Sheep and Deer like Cowpeas, so Goats probably do too

Our goats, loved our garden, corn, cabbage, squash, eggplant. They ate it all, wasn't for them, next year they get their own.

Ours love peas. Didn't care much for the beets. Love the corn leaves.

This is not what you mean but my girls come running every time they see me deadheading roses or pulling weeds. This doesn't do much for their maintenance but it sure makes my life easier- no need to compost.
They also get the berry vines that grow wild all over here. In one year I dried berry vine leaves on a tarp and put them into bags. Even though they looked narly, the goats loved them all winter.

I let our goat herd into the garden after it has produced all it's going to and there is nothing in there the small herd could damage. They love most of the left overs; and we till the rest into the ground.

Black oil sunflowers and pumpkins - you have to chop up the pumpkin but they love it and I've heard it helps keep worm loads down too.

My goats are enjoying the rinds from cantaloup this year as well as the shucks from corn. (I am drying the corn stalks for winter foods for them.)

Mine love zuchini and summer squash. I grow those mini pumpkins for them also, they like them seeds and all. All the greens off the root vegetables, especially carrot greens. Dill, asperagus, pea vines, all the berry prunings, and I rake up the apple leaves for them.
