Chicken bowling

I so wish I had this on video but I'll just have to describe it as best I can!

Every morning when I let the goats out of the barn, I then let the chickens out of their coop and the chickens RUN (running so fast they flap their wings and fall over each other trying to go faster) to the barn to see if the goats might have missed a bite of grain. The chickens have their own pellets so it's not like they are hungry...but I guess it's more fun to "steal" it than eat your own. LOL This happens every morning and it's hilarious enough by itself.

This morning the baby goat stayed in the barn hallway and waited for the chickens. He just stood there until the girls got right to the barn doorway and then lowered his head and BOLTED out the door running right through the hens and bounced (he bounced, the hens just ran) all the way across the yard. It was soooo funny watching him wait on those chickens just so he could run through them. I just wish I had a video camera with me!

Ahh...the entertainment of farm life LOL

LOL, too funny. Where's that camera when you need it?
Star uses her 'stick of shame' as a sort of cattle scoop for the chickens, it's hilarious. They (our chickens) desperately try to steal the goat goodies as well
