Paranoid family member and coccidia

My mother is insanely paranoid about germs and such. When she found out that I'm treating one of the wethers for coccidia, she told me to "get rid of it" because it would "infect the children." *insert under-breath grumbling here* Anyone ever had goat-to-human infection? (I'm going to point her this way to read up on coccidia.)

Coccidia is species-specific, meaning goat cocci can't infect humans. Here's a link...

Make her some spinach dip or creamed spinach next time she visits...half-way through the meal have one of your kids comment on how much creamed spinach looks like...... oh wait, that is JUST too mean. Think it though.

Sounds like my father and step mom. Just add the fact that my father thinks goats are the devils pet and you have my life.
